In a new television program, a selected group of people with a death wish face each other in a suicide home. A tv-audience decides by vote who is allowed to leave his life and who must stay. Pushed by the whims of this invisible, but always present public, the inhabitants try to wrest from the compelling grip of the program and seek another solution for their fear to live.

Suicide Melody is selected for the first round of Lang Rotterdams. The feature film plan is awarded with financial support for the writing of a treatment.
